On September 15, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Hell Train’s seventh story arc: “Yuri Zahard”. The two-episode arc gave us a break from the epic stuff that went down in the previous arc, giving the reader time to process and love Yuri’s well-deserved screen time.

On September 13, 2020, I started Tower of God Volume 2: The Hell Train’s sixth story arc: “The Dallar Show” and finished on September 15, 2020. The Webtoon episodes were longer than usual—on top of them being longer than an average Webtoon episode—which made the binge-reading slightly more difficult.

On September 12, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Hell Train’s fifth story arc: “A Month”. The arc centered around Baam and Hoaqin using the month to prepare for their showdown.

On September 12, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Hell Train’s fourth story arc: “Wooden Horse”. This arc had a heavier focus on the new characters—Daniel, Boro, Saichi, etc.—and their past with Hoaqin 600 years ago. Hoaqin’s character does seem interesting though now that he’s awake, but I’m not really invested in the other new characters.

On September 11, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Hell Train’s third story arc: “Hoaqin”. Picking up where we left off in the previous arc—“The Revolution Road”—Team Rachel and their captive Hwa Ryun had successfully boarded The Hell Train, with Team Baam being left behind to play catch up.

On September 9, 2020, I started reading Tower of God Volume 2: The Hell Train’s second story arc: “Revolution Road” and finished on September 11, 2020. Spending two days on this arc was exhilarating to say the least. “Revolution Road” is the longest Tower of God arc yet—39 episodes—with the biggest payoffs involving Baam, Rachel, and Khun.

On September 9, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Hell Train’s first story arc: “Prologue”. One month had passed since the events of The Workshop Battle, with Khun and Leesoo chatting over the phone to catch up with each other.

On September 8, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s fourteenth story arc: “Epilogue”. As a result, I have completed my reading on The Workshop Battle story. The lightheartedness of the ending was a much-needed break from everything the characters experienced throughout Volume 2’s The Workshop Battle narrative.

On September 8, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s thirteenth story arc: “Closure”. There were payoffs on top of payoffs throughout this last major arc. Baam, Rak, and Khun were finally reunited as a team, Yihwa finally saw Baam smile, Leo-Ro and Quant made a comeback to save everyone, and we finally learned the truth about Emile.

On September 8, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s twelfth story arc: “The Summoning”. Tower of God was getting incredibly epic with everything going on with Baam, Wangnan, Khun, Rak, Yihwa, and Beta.

On September 8, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s eleventh story arc: “Thorn”. The arc dealt with the aftermath of Viole being captured and everyone who didn’t know Viole was Baam learning that truth.

On September 7, 2020, I started and finished reading Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s tenth story arc: “Tournament”. After the Tournament rules are explained by IO and Punk—the hosts—Ja Wangnan immediately runs toward the summoning station for more allies. Seeing Wangnan, Rak, Yihwa, Akraptor, and Quaetro heading into the semi-finals was a beautiful sight to behold.

On September 7, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s ninth story arc: “The Truth”. As you may have guessed, the truth was coming out in this arc regarding Viole’s identity as Baam. Rak, Androssi, and Yihwa raced to meet Viole at his headquarters, where that exact truth bomb was dropped.

On September 7, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s eighth story arc: “Battle x Gamble”. This arc was more action-oriented with a gambling twist. The participants would fight in groups, and the Gamblers—team leaders like Khun and Leesoo—would bet on who would win, accumulating points that way.

On September 7, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s seventh story arc: “Archimedes”. This arc served as a rest day for everyone who passed the “One Shot, One Opportunity” game test in the previous arc, giving the story time to develop the Emile plot and its growing connection to The Workshop Battle.

On September 6, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s sixth story arc: “One Shot, One Opportunity”. I had a fun time with this arc and the return of Team Leesoo kicking ass in this game. The rules of the game—One Shot, One Opportunity—were complicated as usual, but the chaos when the guns started firing made the situation easy to follow.

On September 6, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s fifth story arc: “Workshop Battle”. This arc showed all the participants—Team Sweet and Sour and Team Leesoo specifically—arriving on the 30th Floor. We also learned that Khun is officially on the same boat as Viole, with everyone needing to believe he was dead for their own protection.

On September 6, 2020, I started and finished Tower of God Volume 2: The Workshop Battle’s fourth story arc: “Bet”. The arc picked up directly where the previous arc—“Devil of the Right Arm”—left off, with the explosion scattering everyone around. Viole ended up with Novick, Ran, and Xia Xia—the rabbit ears woman who orchestrated everything to build Viole’s reputation as a Slayer nominee in FUG.
