Phase 1 is completed. What this means is The Enforcers have assembled, assigned roles, and are making a real effort to work together as a team. The whole session was dialogue-driven because we all needed to chat about what’s happening in-game and out-game concerning the role-playing and distrust among the players.

This adventure reunited the 4-player party, and it was also their first true defeat as we transitioned to the next campaign adventure book: Hoard of the Dragon Queen. It was a lot of fun, but the adventurers were having a hard time working together.

I hosted two back-to-back sessions on May 13, 2019 and May 14, 2019 as characters were separated based on the events of the Stranger Things adventure. I resumed my Dungeon Master duties, and introduced a new player into the game. The 4-player party is known as “The Enforcers”.

A Stranger Things Adventure as a Player.
My character is named Vin Kelsier. He is a Water Genasi Druid who stumbled upon the usual Group of Adventurers. I allowed someone else be Dungeon Master, and missed being safe behind the DM Screen. This Starter Set is ideally used for creative freedom, but only lasted two sessions (April 29, 2019 and May 6, 2019).
